After 30 years, I stopped working at the Bijlmer High school (Open Schoolgemeenschap Bijlmer), to start doing something ‘different’. This turned out to be this project, LandGut Girtenmühle.
Together with my son Gidi, our friends Jurrit, Dominique and Vincent, and of course my wife Stella, we’ve started this unique cooperation between young and old: combining the enthusiasm of the young men with my investment and experience in construction and life.
My goal is to transform this place into space where people can live and develop; a ‘place of quiet reflections’, granting the opportunity to manifest intentions and dreams. Because of its unlimited possibilities, LandGut Girtenmühle has the potential to become an oasis amidst this bizarre world, fitting our purpose to find a balance between Planet, People and Profit.
